In the Fleurish herbal dispensary, custom formulations are created for you, using botanicals that are ethically wild-crafted, organically home-grown, or organic. With the information provided in your consultation, Medical Herbalist Cole Schoonover will create a unique formula choosing herbs most indicated for you. Custom formulations are available with a completed mini-consultation or herbal consultation.

You can rest assured that when choosing herbs to include in your formulas only the most suitable plants are selected - considering medical history, medication usage, flavour preference, and plant energetics. Of course, to inform plant selections I consider both the traditional usage of the herb as well as reviewing current research to ensure you get the absolute best plant allies for your health journey! If you feel drawn to a specific plant or love a certain flavour, do not hesitate to let me know - if I can accommodate your preferences I will.

Consultation

A mini-consultation is done through an online form where the client fills out information relevant to their condition, along with allergies, concurrent medications or supplements, and formula preference. If Cole feels confident your condition can be addressed with this amount of information, she will create a custom formula to address your health condition and how it uniquely presents in you.

If Cole decides that in order to effectively manage your condition more information is required, you will be advised at that time to book in for an initial herbal consultation.

Consultation

Herbal consultations are warranted when the condition is more complex or varied in how it's experienced. Typically, conditions that are adaptive and take longer to be thrown out of balance will always require a herbal consultation. Whereas more acute conditions that are commonly experienced tend to be effectively managed through the mini-consultation. Regardless of the type of consultation done, custom formulations are made with therapeutic grade botanical remedies, purchased from Canadian suppliers when available.
