Sustainably Wild-Harvested Botanicals

Ethically Foraged Medicinal Plants From Vancouver Island

Time spent in nature has always been deeply restorative for me, and with my free time I often retreat to the forest, where plants become friends with stories to tell. Through years of observation, I learn their growth patterns, habitats, and rhythms, harvesting only in seasons when there is true abundance to give. On Vancouver Island, our lush ecosystems offer many boon years, allowing me to share the medicine of these plants while honouring their continued vitality.

Each sustainably wild-harvested herb is gathered with intention, ecological awareness, and respect for regeneration. I follow personal and professional harvesting ethics, including as a personal rule never harvesting wild roots unless they are considered noxious weeds. Whether a plant offers energetic support or foundational healing, its teachings are deeply considered in every formulation. These remedies carry not only medicinal potency, but the living stories of the land they come from.
